Direction-aware clearance Planned · Pro
Right now Snappy applies one gap evenly to every face. On a real FDM print the gap doesn't come out the same in every direction — layers stack vertically so up-and-down gaps print tighter than sideways ones, downward overhangs sag, and larger parts shrink more. The plan is an optional vertical multiplier and a part-size compensation, so a single fit accounts for how your printer actually lays plastic down.
Deferred deliberately: the right numbers depend on your printer and filament, and a wrong default is worse than none. Until it lands, set a looser value on the affected cutter with per-cutter custom clearance.
