Common questions

How do I price a 3D print?

Add up filament, electricity, printer wear, your hands-on time, packaging and postage, then work out the price that leaves your target profit after marketplace fees. The calculator does this for you, and a 30-40% margin after all costs is a healthy target.

How do I get the print time and filament weight from Bambu Studio or Orca?

Slice your plate, then export the plate sliced file (.gcode.3mf) or save the project after slicing. Drop that file into the calculator and it reads the print time, filament grams and number of parts automatically.

Does it include Etsy fees?

Yes. It includes Etsy's transaction fee, payment processing and listing fee, plus presets for Etsy Offsite Ads, your own Shopify store and market stalls. You can edit every fee to match your plan.

Is my data saved?

The free calculator keeps everything in your own browser, and your 3MF files are never uploaded. Starter Kit owners sign in with their email and their products, ideas and monthly numbers save to their account, so nothing is lost if they clear their browser, and it syncs across their devices.
